Basically, his name's pronounced like "strip" as opposed to "stripe".(12/21/09: I tried it out in real life and found it sounded weird. You can pronounce it "stripe" if you want.) In other news, I'm making a video tutorial on how to enable Webmaster Tools for Blogspot blogs. It will have a puppet version of Stripy.
